Thresh’s hook stuns and drags in enemy players and can be reactivated to pull Thresh toward them. His W, Dark Passage, throws a lantern toward allies, which they can click to dash toward Thresh’s location. This lantern can be used to set up plays or to pull allies to safety and in certain situations, players will want to position themselves away from their carry with a lantern ready.

8. Maokai

Maokai is one of the surprise forerunners for best support champ in the early stages of Season 14, as he is usually played in other roles, such as jungle. 9. Senna

Despite extensive changes to the terrain, Bard is still finding angles to gank and influence the entire map with his Magical Journeys. Rakan offers a healthy mix of buffs in the form of heals and shields, as well as CC with his knockup and charm. As a bonus for any player looking to climb with Rakan, his lover Xayah is also in a decent spot, meaning they can dominate games together with their unique interactions.

13. Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank is one of the most feared champions in League of Legends and has a ban rate of over 30% to prove it. With his infamous Q ability, Rocket Grab, he hooks in the unfortunate player to himself. Paired with his single target knockup and an ADC with burst, successful hooks often translate into kills.
